eTune - BMW S55 (F8x M2/M4/M2Comp)

Custom remote tune (eTune) for the BMW S55 engine – M3 (F80), M4 (F82/F83) and M2 Competition (F87). Calibrated via MHD or BM3 for your hardware, your fuel and your goals. Flash tool licenses and dongles are not included.

Technical overview

• Engine: 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six
• Flashing: via OBD with MHD or BM3. Vehicles built from around 2018 onwards require a bench unlock first.

What we calibrate

Among other things, we adjust the maps for injection, ignition, VANOS, boost control and torque monitoring. Torque monitoring is raised and adapted to your setup, not simply disabled. Power, torque and boost are tailored to your wishes; the achievable maximum depends heavily on the installed hardware. Ask us via the contact form for a rough estimate in advance.

How it works

1. We create a base map from your vehicle information and send it to you by e-mail, together with any notes for flashing.
2. Log each version twice in 3rd gear and twice in 4th gear, from 2,500 rpm to just before the rev limiter.
3. Send us the logs by e-mail – we then create a revised version.
4. This repeats until the tune is finalised and you are satisfied.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a bench unlock?
Vehicles built from around 2018 onwards require a bench unlock. Run the unlock check in the MHD app before ordering to see whether your ECU is affected.

Which fuel should I use?
We calibrate your tune for the fuel you actually use. The achievable power always depends on fuel quality. Please do not switch fuel during the tuning process without consulting us first.
